Our mission is to serve each of our clients with quality craftsmanship and integrity. We believe that clear communication throughout the building process is an essential part of meeting every client’s goals and needs. As an intrinsic part of this mission, we have continued to surround ourselves with team members and tradesmen who share these same values. We acknowledge the genuine privilege that it is to have the trust of our clients, and we have always sought to exceed their expectations, one project at a time.
About Us
My brothers Jason, Joel, and I grew up in the Midcoast towns of Knox County, Maine. We have always enjoyed the process of building together. Growing up in this area and working together instilled in us the important life lessons of hard work, integrity and generosity. After high school, we continued to pursue our natural interests and spent time working for a local, well-known residential builder, gaining skills in the proper methods of building, renovating, and constructing homes.
In 2004, we decided to start our own company. In 2006, we formalized our business as Burgess & Burgess Construction, LLC. In 2016, Jason decided to back away from business ownership, but still periodically lends a hand with projects. Joel stepped into the role of project manager, and several full-time team members were welcomed on board.
We continue to strive to grow our company and our customer base. As of Fall 2021, we have over 450 customers in the Midcoast area we have been blessed to work with, and many of whom we continue to serve. We are profoundly grateful to each one of them for their support and willingness to recommend us and our services to their family and friends over the years.
